Bookings settings

Booking and property/business policies settings from the menu Configuration → Bookings.

Booking engine enabled: Enable/Disable the booking engine through which your guests make direct reservations to your property.

Opening season start date: Opening date (format dd/mm), if the property operates during specific months of the year (seasonal operation).

Opening season end date: Closing date (format dd/mm), if the property operates during specific months of the year.

Check-in from: Guest check-in time policy.

Check-out until: Guest check-out time policy.

Pay deposit to complete booking: If you select true, the guest is required to pay a deposit in order to complete the booking through the booking engine. Otherwise, the booking is completed without requiring a deposit from the guest.

Deposit minimum nights: The minimum deposit the guest must pay (in number of nights) for the booking to be completed, if required.

Bank deposit max days: The maximum number of days a booking remains pending for the guest to pay the deposit. After this period, the owner is notified through the PMS notifications to take further action.

Children policy: The booking policy for children. This field must have the following format: language_id : policy text | language_id : policy text | language_id : policy text

  • For example, to define the children policy in English and Greek, find the language ID from the menu Local Settings → Languages and fill in accordingly, e.g. 1:>3 years | 2:>3 ετών (where 1 and 2 are the IDs for English and Greek respectively).

Infants policy: The booking policy for infants. This field must have the following format: language_id : policy text | language_id : policy text | language_id : policy text

  • For example, to define the infants policy in English and Greek, find the language ID from the menu Local Settings → Languages and fill in accordingly, e.g. 1:>Infants up to 2 years old are free of charge | 2:>Δωρεάν διαμονή για βρέφη έως 2 ετών (where 1 and 2 are the IDs for English and Greek respectively).

Enable children rates: Enable/Disable per-child, per-night pricing. These are defined in the menu Rates/Availability → Children Rates.

Children rates policy: Select the children pricing policy. Standard if you want a fixed price per child per night. Flexible if you want to charge per child / room / rate category / night.

Minimum nights to book: The minimum number of nights required for a guest to make a booking.

Maximum nights to book: The maximum number of nights a guest is allowed to book.

Check-in days restrictions: Restrictions on days when guests are not allowed to select an arrival date.

Check-out days restrictions: Restrictions on days when guests are not allowed to select a departure date.

VAT rate: The percentage used to calculate VAT.

Prices with VAT: Select true if the displayed prices include VAT.

Show VAT rate: Select whether you want the VAT amount to be displayed to the guest.

Climate resilience tax: The Climate Crisis Resilience Fee, which must have the following format: month,month,month:amount|month,month,month:amount

Climate resilience tax (type of charge): The charge type of the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee. Usually charged per night, but in some cases it may be charged per guest.

City tax rate: The accommodation city tax.

Reset new bookings push notifications subscriptions: Reset the notification settings in case you have stopped receiving notifications (select the reset option).

Enable splitting booking to two rooms or more?: Enable/Disable automatic booking split into two or more rooms depending on availability.
